I have returned...
That's right, I have returned from my travels, and am now safely back in my crrent home town of Santiago. I currently am short on battery life, so this will be brief. I shall merely give you a bit of a blurb I jotted during the first of many bus journeys and a promise that many pictures are to follow...enjoy my disjointed thoughts...
"The sun is setting. The hum of the bus is remeniscent of an airplane ride. View of the mountains--shades of blue and orange. Dawson's Creek is playing on the bus television --an episode of change and conflict (as all overly dramatic teen television shows are...). Too dark to read the small print of the seat numbers that are faintly glowing above my head. There is a fain sound of Mark's ipod to my right and Sarah's to the left.
Only a minute ago the mountains and hills were bright and saturatied green like a dinosaur dfrom a children's story book, spotted with clumps of trees and a few power lines. Now there's only an occassional light glowing in the distance and a few random houses... Ice Age II just came on... Too dark to write... Too dark to think..."
